TREAT CODE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (THE "AGREEMENT")
PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE ACQUIRING OR REDEEMING A TREAT CODE.
1. DEFINITIONS
"Code" or "Treat Code" refers to the alphanumeric string provided by the Seller to the User, designed to trigger a specific hardware interaction (treat dispenser) on the Seller's livestream.
"Seller" refers to the livestream broadcaster (Hennsylvania/User).
"User" refers to the individual acquiring or redeeming the Code.
"Service" refers to the livestream, the chat bot, and the connected hardware (Treat Feeder).
2. NATURE OF GOODS
The Code is a digital license to trigger a single interaction on the Seller's broadcast.
The Code has NO CASH VALUE. It is strictly for entertainment purposes.
The Code is NOT a physical good and does not entitle the User to any ownership of the hardware, the treats, or the chickens.
3. REDEMPTION AND USAGE
Codes are redeemed by entering the command "!code [YOURCODE]" in the Seller's Twitch chat.
Codes are single-use. Once a Code is successfully processed by the system (Result: Success), it becomes void. Codes are listed at the end of the provided document.
4. SERVICE AVAILABILITY ("AS IS" / "AS AVAILABLE")
The Service relies on multiple layers of technology, including but not limited to: Twitch Chat API, local internet connection, local home network, custom software (chat bot), and third-party hardware (smart plugs, motors).
Functionality is NOT GUARANTEED. The Seller makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Specific Risks Include:
- Feeder Jam: The motor may run, but treats may not dispense.
- Local Area Network Disconnect: The bot may receive the command but fail to signal the plug.
- Empty Hopper: The feeder may be out of treats.
- Chicken Disinterest: The chickens may ignore the treats (Acts of Nature).
5. OFFLINE / RESERVED STATUS
If the Service is offline, attempting to redeem a Code may result in a "RESERVED" status.
A "RESERVED" Code is tied to the User's account and can be redeemed later when the Service is online.
The Seller is not responsible if a User forgets to redeem a Reserved Code.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM:
(A) THE FAILURE OF THE CODE TO DISPENSE TREATS;
(B) ANY TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION OF THE BOT OR STREAM;
(C) UNINTENDED REDEMPTION BY UNAUTHORIZED USERS (IF CODE IS SHARED PUBLICLY).
THE SELLER'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL CHEER/DONATION VALUE (IF ANY) EXCHANGED FOR THE CODE.
7. REFUND POLICY
Due to the digital and immediate nature of the interaction, Codes are generally NON-REFUNDABLE.
In the event of a total system failure where a purchased Code is consumed but no action occurs, the Seller may, at their sole discretion, issue a replacement Code. To report a system failure, User should create a clip of the failure and send a link to the clip via Twitch Whisper to Seller (@hennsylvania).
8. ACCEPTANCE
By acquiring or attempting to use a Code, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
